Students Attend Entrepreneurial Panel

The South Seneca students in the Introduction to Business and Accounting classes attended an entrepreneurial discussion panel Tuesday, April 24.

Students had the opportunity to hear from a group of local business owners as they discussed their personal stories of starting and maintaining their own businesses. The panelists also offered advice to future entrepreneurs. The panel was made up of Christy Wilcox of Christy’s Corner Studio, Larry Warfel of BLG Auction Services and Dan Grillone of Cobblestone Coffee Roasters.

"The speakers provided insightful stories about their journey in entrepreneurship," said Brandon Swanson, a senior at South Seneca.

The panel was held at the Geneva Public Library. This event was supported by Seneca Towns Engaging People for Solutions (STEPS) and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wayne County through the “Strengthening Our Area Residents” (SOAR) initiative.
